New: Tudor Black Bay ceramic with blue dial.

As worn by the Visa Cash App RB F1 team

Ok so i like Tudor watches, I like black ceramic watches and i love blue-dialed watches so why don’t I like this watch? mmm lets delve into it, shall we. Tudor’s motto of late is “Born to Dare” and someone from Tudor as taken a punt to back an F1 team (Visa Cash App RB) that in 2024 is currently 6th in the construction championship and 10th and 12th in the Drivers table. Visa Cash App RB is a brand-new Formula 1® team supported by TUDOR. Driving the cars are Daniel Ricciardo and exciting youngster Yuki Tsunoda. The team has undergone a radical shake-up, not just in terms of the striking livery which features TUDOR branding, as do the drivers’ race suits, but across all departments, from management to engineering, as it sets out on a new adventure aimed at making it a Formula 1 front-runner.

Now don’t think for one second that is why I don’t like it, (nowadays I don’t give a rat’s ass about F1. In the 1980’s my hero of the day was a moustached Brummie called Nigel Mansell) no.. the reason I don’t like it is the flat blue dial colour which is called “visa Blue” ( thank heavens it wasn’t an Anne Summers sponsorship). the rest of the watch is just standard black Bay “stuff” 41 mm black ceramic case housing the COSC calibre  MT5602-1U with 15000 Gauss anti-magnetism and a 70-hour power reserve. It comes with a black rubber strap with blue stitching and a complimentary black cloth strap with a blue stripe running down the middle. The drivers were seen wearing this watch at the beginning of the season and was exclusive to the team until now.
