New Release: The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M Titanium Ultra-Light Armand Duplantis.

It’s very nice but a bit rich even for this Omega fan-boy.

So those who know me from my Tea and Tickers YouTube channel I am unashamedly an Omega fan boy owning six of the brand, one of them being a 2015 Aqua Terra “Bumble Bee”.

The 2 beautiful watches you see above ( well one as I think the grey one is bland) cost GBP 48.400. yup, you did read that correctly and as nice as they are I think they are having a laugh at that price. The ultra light model was released in 2022 but still commands £30,000 on the used market. This new model collaborates with Omega Ambassador and Olympic pole vaulter Armand Duplantis. the blue and yellow are the colours of Sweden, his native country and the yellow second-hand with white tip that matches his pole used for vaulting!

Made of Grade 5 Titanium (Gamma Titanium for the 41mm case, bezel, caseback and crown) it weighs in an impressive 55 Grams in total. the case also featured something new to Omega in 2022 on the original model, a push-in crown which in my opinion gives the watch a really clean look.

Powering the watch is the in-house hand-wound mechanical movement, caliber 8928 Ti with 29 jewels, and 25,200 Vph. This Master Chronometer-certified movement is crafted entirely from titanium, including the main plate and bridges, to maintain the watch’s ultra-lightweight profile. Power reserve can last up to 72 hours (3 days) when fully wound. the strap on this non-limited edition is yellow nylon fabric.
