Just launched: The Ralf -Tech Space Millenium.

A collaboration with CNES (The French National Space Agency)

This hobby amazes me .. to the casual observer the “space watch” starts and stops with the immense Omega Speedmaster, but take a closer look and you will find hundreds of models (either issued or personal luggage) that broke through to the exosphere, there is even a whole Facebook page dedicated to them.

The latest to enter the arena is Ralf-Tech with their Space Millenium (and yes this is how they spell it) it is developed in conjunction with the French National Space Agency (CNES) which took the prototype into space. The watch flew on March 27th, 2024 on a training flight for future astronauts in Zero G and of course the watch is dedicated to future astronauts.

The 47.5mm Grade 1 Titanium case has been lightened as much as possible as is the honeycombed dial. the movement has ben covered in more detail recently here but in short, it has a built-in capacitor that charges up as the watch is moved. It comes with a rubber strap Leather strap and a NATO all in a blue bespoke pelican case.

The watch was only launched late on the 20th of July 2024 but as I write this less than 48 hours later all the 100 pieces of the 1st year’s allocation have been requested by dealers and no doubt will sell very quickly if they haven’t already. keep an eye on the YouTube channel as one will be unboxed in the coming weeks.

price: 4500 EURO.
