It’s very nice but a bit rich even for this Omega fan-boy.
So those who know me from my Tea and Tickers YouTube channel I am unashamedly an Omega fan boy owning six of the brand, one of them being a 2015 Aqua Terra “Bumble Bee”.

Do you ever add up the value of your watches?I have close to 50 and if they were all just £500 each ..well thats 25k unfortunately ( an oxymoron if i have heard one) 6 of them are Omega’s the cheapest is worth a £1000 the most expensive £5000 ..you do the math … this isn’t a brag, its a realisation how much money is tied up in something that i may not even see every day never mind wear. the watch “purists” will tell you that if each one of your collection didn’t cost at least 10k and have a brand beginning with “R” on the dial then it is a “shitter” .. those who do are not watch enthusiasts they are in the hobby to make money. If like myself you don’t care if it has “R” on the dial then you can buy a hell of a watch for under £1000 .well under. lets take look at a couple.
And why everyday is a school day!
For some unknown reason my watch journey in the last few years has taken me mostly down the military route. not sure why as myself and my family do not have any military background. my “grail ” watch is a Rolex 5517 Milsub ( predominantly issued to the British armed forces in the 70’s and now worth a fortune)
And why I am shaken and stirred every time i wear it.
Argh…… the famous or maybe infamous Omega Seamaster 300m reference 253.80.00 .A lot has been written about this watch since it blasted onto our screens in the 1997 James Bond blockbuster Tomorrow Never Dies. This was Omega’s 2nd mission for 007 and the first one for the Automatic model ( the quartz 2541.80.00 was their debut into MI6, in 1995’s Goldeneye……
