The best military watches that are used 2024.

.We take a deep dive into the “door kickers”favourite time pieces.

For those who are unfamiliar with my “Tea and Tickers” YouTube channel and my watch-collecting habits,I for some unknown reason appear to favour military watches. Gone are the days when every military personnel is given a wristwatch as part of his kit.

The British SAS and SBS and the USA’s Navy Seals (door kickers) do however get issued a watch but a lot of Operators choose to buy and wear their own.The Brits however are supplied with the CWC SBS and the Elliot Brown Holton Professional.

I wax lyrical about the Elliot Brown here. I own one as well as the CWC SBS which is twice the price of the EB and their “shouty” marketing policy makes no disguise of who they supply. they are proud of it and let everyone know it. I know a little less about our US equivalent but can tell you that the Navy Seals are issued Suunto Core.

This is an all-plastic digital affair, unlike the traditional dials of the previously mentioned watches.If you were unlucky enough to not be supplied a watch or decide to bring your own ..the list of ones deemed suitable is long and varied, I have seen many pictures of cadets ( and more senior “badged” military with a trusty $30 Casio square.

Remember to them, these are just tools to do a job .( just like the weapons they carry) G-shocks feature heavily in the list, DW6600 /DW6900 to name but 2. UK Navy Clearance Divers are issued with  GAW-100B-1AER gshocks .Luminox tend to be a joked about with their “Navy Seals” collab watch but they have been successfully used in combat by military personnel that have bought them as personal equipment.
